How National IT secured and modernised a 30-year Melbourne property developer, strengthening cyber resilience and moving to the cloud without a day of downtime.
As a property developer handling sensitive financial transactions and client data, Blue Earth Group carried real cyber-security risk. The business was also running on legacy on-premises infrastructure that was increasingly hard to scale.
On top of that, strategic office relocations needed proper IT and audio-visual planning, work that had previously been handled by external AV vendors, with the coordination headaches that brings.
We built a cyber-security framework on the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight controls, including enterprise email filtering, 24/7 security operations centre monitoring, dark-web monitoring and advanced endpoint detection.
In 2020 we migrated Blue Earth from on-premises servers to Microsoft 365 and Azure, completed within two to four weeks, at fixed cost and with no customer downtime. We also took on office-relocation support end to end: IT infrastructure planning, AV consulting and vendor management.
Blue Earth Group now operates with a materially stronger security posture and a modern cloud environment that scales with the business, achieved without interrupting operations.
The relationship has delivered 11 client referrals over its life, and continues today with planned upgrades to network equipment and security practices.
