In 2011, Hamilton Marino had a growing project pipeline and an IT setup that was starting to hold them back. Data sat on local servers that site teams could barely reach, there was no reliable way to collaborate across locations, security was patchy, and the setup had no room to grow.

Construction runs differently. Sites open and close constantly, and teams are split between head office, project offices and dozens of locations. People on the ground need real-time access to drawings, documents and systems, because when they can't get what they need, a $100M build doesn't wait. Hamilton Marino didn't need a quick fix. They needed a technology partner who understood the business and could build something that would scale.

National IT became embedded in how Hamilton Marino operates, rather than acting as an external supplier. The entire business runs on Microsoft 365. Every staff member, whether at a desk in Abbotsford or on a site in Sydney, works from the same environment with the same access.

Every new project site is set up by us: connectivity, devices and access sorted before the team arrives, and decommissioned cleanly when the site closes. It's a cycle that repeats continuously and runs smoothly because the team knows exactly what each site needs. Beyond the day-to-day, we handle IT strategy and planning alongside the leadership team as part of the conversation when decisions are made, not brought in afterwards to implement someone else's plan.

Hamilton Marino has more than quadrupled in size since 2011, through new offices, new states and more sites running at once, and their technology has kept pace with the business.
